Rooted - Grades 3-5 Youth Ministry

Rooted (formerly Disciples of God) is where students in grades 3 through 5 get their start in youth ministry. Join us every Wednesday night at 7 p.m. throughout the school year at the Family Activity Center for different programs and activities each week.

Edge- Middle School Youth Ministry

Our grades 6-8 ministry, known as Edge, is a dynamic middle school youth ministry program designed to meet the education, spiritual, and social needs of  middle school youth by creating an environment where the youth are part of a community. The ministry provides an opportunity to grow in faith by developing a meaningful relationship with Jesus through Liturgy, EdgeNights at 7 p.m. each Wednesday, community service and social activities.

The goals of Edge are:

• To foster a transforming spiritual experience of Jesus which allows early adolescents to know the Word of God and the Eucharist in a deeper and more profound way
• to assist middle school youth in learning and appreciating what the Catholic Church teaches and believes
• to create a positive experience of the Catholic Church for adolescents
• to incorporate the Catholic Church’s vision of social justice and peace to the spiritual life of pre-adolescents
• to develop a knowledge in middle school youth that they are a vital and visual presence within the parish community
