This Lent en-coun-ter Catholicism© in an entirely new way.
Tim Muldoon writes that, “Life in Christ demands the same kind of vigilance, preparation, and training that a person undertakes as an athlete.”
This Lent, become a spiritual athlete during a special 5-part en-coun-ter series, The Ignatian Workout for Lent. From March 8 through April 5 from 6 to 7 p.m. each Wednesday night, grow in spirituality as you walk the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius of Loyola.
You will learn to apply the principles of discernment, reflection and action to grow in love and transformation. Explore concepts such as spiritual biography, The Examen of Conscience and using your imagination to draw closer to God and rely on his grace to remove distractions from your life.
Come to one, several or all five sessions. We will use "The Ignatian Workout for Lent," by Tim Muldoon as our resource. Booklets are $6 each and are available to the first 30 participants.
