July 26: Judy Kreller "The Challenges and Rewards of being a Catholic Pro-Life Sidewalk Counselor"
Judy Kreller says, "God called me to pray for girls and women who have a crisis pregnancy. Armed with my rosary, I joined a group of faithful who prayed for these women in front of the Lubbock abortion clinic when it was still open. Sometimes, the Holy Spirit used us to change the hearts of mothers so they would choose life for their unborn children. At the present time, there are still attempts to reopen the Lubbock Abortion Clinic.” Come hear Judy's experiences in this powerful ministry for life.

en·coun·ter
verb \in-ˈkau̇n-tər, en-\
: to have or experience (problems, difficulties, etc.)
: to meet (someone) without expecting or intending to
It is not sufficient to know about Jesus Christ. We must come to encounter him as a living person. While this encounter can take many forms, in its essence the encounter with Jesus Christ moves from an object for our consideration to a subject with whom we enter into personal relationship.
Mission
ENCOUNTER Catholicism allows adults from all faith backgrounds to explore the Catholic faith, its tenets, practices, history and meaning in the world today. Weekly topics are broad-based and are designed to enrich the faith of cradle Catholics, those raised without any faith tradition at all, converts, or those simply curious about Catholicism.
